We first met on a group bike ride a few years ago and found we each had a quirky sense of humor. We’ve been friends since and seem to talk each other into doing some crazy race/challenge the other doesn’t really want to do. Hence our team name, Peer Pressure! Whether it’s a triathlon, half marathon, 1.2 mile ocean swim, or just a training run in a torrential down pour with gale force winds, we keep each other motivated while dragging the other along begrudgingly. We look forward to Amazing Race to Serve and know we will be laughing all day long as we try to make our way back to the Vista Campus. We aren’t the fastest but we don’t like to come in last either so look out everyone!
